edge comes back from behind

edge won by a whisker, with just 1 point — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. edge only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Cozo led for 15 hands but finished second, 1 point behind. Cozo was ahead of edge right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Cozo said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Third, and on the podium: Vyce, with 84 points. Vyce was ahead of edge right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Vyce said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Daniela took last place without any nerves at all, on 53 points. From leader to red lantern. The little wedge tipped the big cart — and the cart was Daniela. 2 hands in a row: Daniela broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
