The comeback of Elena

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Luis closed the table from the back, on 79 points — there is always a next game. 2 hands in a row: Luis broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Luis cried laughing 7 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Sebi in 5th, with 91 points. The comfort zone. 2 hands in a row: only Sebi slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Sebi. After the two-card hand on the way up, Sebi was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Cosmin in 4th, with 94 points. The comfort zone. In the second of the opening eights: Cosmin called 1, took 4, and Elena and Radu were left out in the cold. Cosmin spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Olga rounds out the podium with 103 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 9 good hands in a row — at one point, Olga was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Radu finishes second, 14 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Radu left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Champion of the evening: Elena, with 125 points. The rest, see you in the replay. In the fourth of the opening eights, Elena bid 2 and took 6 — and Cosmin went down with it. It didn't start well — only 5th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
