edge comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 35 slips at the table and scores from 100 down to 67.

First place: edge, with 100 points. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

Second place went to Ana, with 85 points. In the last of the closing eights, Ana bid 1 and took 4 — and Mihai went down with it.

Mihai rounds out the podium with 70 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Mihai was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Last place, with dignity: Elena, with 67 points. Somebody had to do it. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity. Before the last eights, only 1 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
