A tug of war, won by Elena

4 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

First place: Elena, with 112 points. The rest, see you in the replay. Going into the last hand the lead was already 23 — that one was a lap of honour. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Ana finishes second, 15 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Ana was even in front after the first of the middle eights.

Mihai completed the podium with 93 points. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Last place, with dignity: Emi, with 91 points. Somebody had to do it. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Emi said and... hoped. It didn't hold. After the four-card hand on the way up, Emi was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Well played everyone — and especially Elena!
