1 point. That's all. Elena won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. Elena only went in front at the very last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

PaulP finished second, just 1 point short of the win. In the first of the closing eights: PaulP called 1, took 4, and Mihai was left out in the cold. PaulP was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand.

Ana rounds out the podium with 79 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Ana was even in front after the two-card hand on the way down.

The tail of the table: Mihai, with 69 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. After the two-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans. 10 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.
