The comeback of Gabriel

The cards are back in the box. Here is what happened at the table.

Last, but with style: Padre, with 93 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Padre didn't — but insisted, with dignity. Before the last eights, only 1 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Edy finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 105 points. In the third of the closing eights: Edy said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Padre. After the second of the closing eights, Edy was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

In 4th place, CATA, on 110 points. From the tail of the table to a warm spot: CATA plays right down to the last card.

Third, on the podium: TaNE, up there with eyes on the top step. One card, a single card, and TaNE still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

Teo finished second, just 3 points short of the win. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Teo didn't — but insisted, with dignity. Teo was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Gabriel won by a whisker, with just 3 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 14 good hands in a row.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
