Luis comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 7 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Luis comes out on top of everyone, with 97 points. The cards were kind. In the last of the closing eights: Luis said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Mihai. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Ana, with 85 points. Ana spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Third, on the podium: Elena, up there with eyes on the top step. Elena left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Mihai took last place without any nerves at all, on 62 points. The table was Mihai's after the last of the opening eights; the second half had other ideas.

Well played everyone — and especially Luis!
