The comeback of Ana

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 69 points. 3 hands in a row: Elena broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Before the last eights, only 4 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Third, and on the podium: Kiki, with 93 points. Level on points with Mihai, and behind only on the tie-break. In the second of the closing eights: Kiki said 1, scooped 4, and Elena was left counting the pieces.

Mihai led for 9 hands but finished second, 3 points behind. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Mihai didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

3 points. That's all. Ana won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. In the last of the middle eights: Ana said 0, scooped 3, and Kiki was left counting the pieces. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.
