Cosmin takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 39 slips at the table and scores from 107 down to 54.

Cosmin crossed the finish line first, on 107 points.

Coca finishes second, 16 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. In the third of the closing eights, Coca bid 1 and took 4 — and Cosmin went down with it. Coca was even in front after the first of the middle eights. In the six-card hand on the way down, 2 chairs flew at Coca within seconds 🪑 — the table had opinions.

Third, on the podium: Monica, up there with eyes on the top step. Monica said they'd take nothing in the last of the opening eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Last place, with dignity: Luis, with 54 points. Somebody had to do it. In the second of the middle eights: Luis said 2, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Monica. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Luis said and... hoped. It didn't hold. The six-card hand on the way up: 2 chairs thrown at Luis in seconds 🪑 — the table spoke its mind, furnished and all.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
