Mihai never gave up the lead

Sebi took last place without any nerves at all, on 54 points. In the second of the middle eights: Sebi called 5, took 8, and Daniel S was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: only Sebi slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Sebi.

Third, on the podium: Daniel S, up there with eyes on the top step. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Daniel didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Second place for Elena, with 94 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. 2 hands in a row: Elena broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Mihai crossed the finish line first, on 99 points. In front from the first of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.
