8 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.
The tail of the table: Claudiu, with 91 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. 2 hands in a row: Claudiu broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Claudiu cried laughing 4 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.
Carmen finished 5th with 101 points. After the five-card hand on the way up, Carmen was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
In 4th place, Cretu, on 115 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Cretu was leading the table — but the last hands had other plans.
Third, on the podium: Alice, up there with eyes on the top step. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Alice didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
CCC finished second, just 1 point short of the win. The place above was a single point away. CCC was even in front after the fifth one-card hand.
Catalin won with 127 points, by a whisker: just 1 point ahead.
