The comeback of Elena

The lead passed from hand to hand, 8 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Last place, with dignity: Mihai, with 65 points. Somebody had to do it. Top of the table after the six-card hand on the way down, then straight to the bottom. The plan at home didn't match the one at the table. In the last of the middle eights: Mihai said 1, scooped 4, and Emi was left counting the pieces.

Third, on the podium: Ana, up there with eyes on the top step. In the third of the opening eights: Ana said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Emi. Ana was ahead of Emi right up to the last hand.

Second place went to Emi, with 74 points. The last hand decided it: Emi went past Ana right on the line. Emi was even in front after the four-card hand on the way down. Emi cried laughing 3 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.

Elena takes the game with 83 points and goes home happy. Elena was even last after the six-card hand on the way down, which makes the win all the sweeter. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
