The comeback of Elena

10 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Last place: Daniel S, with 75 points. Leading by the book until the seven-card hand on the way down... then the cards turned the page. Daniel, hard luck. In the second of the middle eights: Daniel said 2, scooped 5, and Cretu was left counting the pieces.

Third, and on the podium: Lucky, with 78 points. Lucky was ahead of Cretu right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Lucky said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Cretu finishes second, 4 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. The last hand decided it: Cretu went past Lucky right on the line. Cretu spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

First place and peace of mind: Elena, with 88 points. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena.
