Mihai comes back from behind

9 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Mihai takes the game with 98 points and goes home happy. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Elena, with 83 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Kiki rounds out the podium with 78 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 2 hands in a row: Kiki broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Kiki was even in front after the five-card hand on the way down. Kiki cried laughing 4 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.

PaulP closed the table from the back, on 66 points — there is always a next game. The table was PaulP's after the last of the opening eights; the second half had other ideas. In the third of the closing eights, PaulP bid 2 and took 5 — and Kiki went down with it.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
