Mihai comes back from behind

After the opening eights, 3 players were level on 18 points — it was going to be a long one.

Mihai won by a whisker, with just 3 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. Mihai only went in front at the very last hand. Mihai was even last after the four-card hand on the way down, which makes the win all the sweeter.

Sebi led for 10 hands but finished second, 3 points behind. Sebi was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Sebi didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Kiki rounds out the podium with 66 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the second of the middle eights: Kiki called 3, took 6, and Sebi was left out in the cold. Kiki was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

Last place, with dignity: Elena, with 59 points. Somebody had to do it. Started like a champion — top of the table after the last of the opening eights — and finished like a tragedy. In the first of the closing eights: Elena said 3, scooped 7, and Kiki was left counting the pieces.
