A tug of war, won by Ionela

The lead changed hands 7 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

First place, no appeal: Ionela, with 97 points. Ionela only went in front at the very last hand.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Luis, with 93 points. Luis was ahead of Ionela right up to the last hand. Luis was even in front after the three-card hand on the way down.

Ana rounds out the podium with 74 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Ana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Mihai closed the table from the back, on 61 points — there is always a next game. After the six-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
