Ana comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 37 slips at the table and scores from 106 down to 19.

Ana finished level with Ionela on 106 points and took the win on the tie-break: fewer broken contracts. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Ionela led for 18 hands but finished second, 0 points behind. Level on points with Ana, and behind only on the tie-break. In the second of the closing eights: Ionela called 1, took 4, and Iuly was left out in the cold.

Mihai completed the podium with 87 points. 3 hands in a row: only Mihai slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Mihai.

Iuly took last place without any nerves at all, on 19 points. Top of the table after the last of the opening eights, then straight to the bottom. The plan at home didn't match the one at the table. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Iuly said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
