Emi comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 11 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Emi won with 135 points, by a whisker: just 2 points ahead. Emi only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Bot finished second, just 2 points short of the win. Bot got past Vyce at the very last hand. Bot was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way up.

Third, on the podium: Vyce, up there with eyes on the top step. Vyce was ahead of Emi right up to the last hand. Vyce was even in front after the last of the middle eights.

In 4th place, Radu, on 120 points. 2 hands in a row: only Radu slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Radu. Radu was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Pity in 5th, with 106 points. The comfort zone. Pity left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Last place, with dignity: Cosmin, with 96 points. Somebody had to do it. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Cosmin didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
