Ana takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 37 slips at the table and scores from 100 down to 44.

First place, no appeal: Ana, with 100 points. 10 good hands in a row — at one point, Ana was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Second place for Lucky, with 88 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. Lucky was even in front after the last of the opening eights. Lucky couldn't bear to look 5 times 🙈 — some cards are not meant to be seen.

Mihai rounds out the podium with 81 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the five-card hand on the way down: Mihai called 1, took 4, and Elena was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: Mihai broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 44 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity. After the three-card hand on the way up, Elena was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
