Mihai takes the table

The cards were dealt, and so were the nerves. Here is the story.

First place and peace of mind: Mihai, with 114 points. 7 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

edge took the runner-up spot with 106 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only edge didn't — but insisted, with dignity. edge was even in front after the six-card hand on the way down.

Gigel rounds out the podium with 88 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. One card, a single card, and Gigel still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 50 points. In the second of the opening eights: Elena said 1, scooped 4, and Gigel was left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
