Yurii comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 8 times over — it was anyone's guess.

2 points. That's all. Yurii won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. Yurii only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Mara led for 19 hands but finished second, 2 points behind. Mara was ahead of Yurii right up to the last hand. At one stretch, 10 good hands in a row.

Third, and on the podium: Cosmin, with 100 points. Cosmin said they'd take nothing in the three-card hand on the way down... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Ilinca in 4th, with 90 points. The comfort zone. 2 hands in a row: Ilinca broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. After the two-card hand on the way up, Ilinca was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Vlad took last place without any nerves at all, on 58 points. In the six-card hand on the way up: Vlad said 1, scooped 4, and Yurii was left counting the pieces.
