The comeback of Ana

The lead passed from hand to hand, 6 times over — it was anyone's guess.
Cristian Imparat closes out the table, with 79 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. In the first of the opening eights, Cristian bid 0 and took 3 — and Adri went down with it. Cristian was ahead of Raluca right up to the last hand. Cristian cried laughing 3 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.
Adri finished 4th with 84 points. Adri got past Cristian Imparat at the very last hand. Level on points with Gigel, and behind only on the tie-break.
Third, and on the podium: Gigel, with 84 points. Gigel got past Cristian Imparat at the very last hand. Level on points with Raluca, and behind only on the tie-break.
Raluca took the runner-up spot with 84 points. Raluca got past Gigel at the very last hand. In the last of the middle eights: Raluca said 2, scooped 6, and Cristian Imparat and Gigel were left counting the pieces.
Ana comes out on top of everyone, with 95 points. The cards were kind.
Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
