unf0rgettable comes back from behind

The cards were dealt, and so were the nerves. Here is the story.

unf0rgettable crossed the finish line first, on 126 points. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Radu took the runner-up spot with 115 points. Radu was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

Ana completed the podium with 94 points. From the tail of the table to a warm spot: Ana plays right down to the last card.

In 4th place, Mihai, on 86 points. The last hand decided it: Mihai went past Elena right on the line. After the third of the closing eights, Mihai was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Last, but with style: Elena, with 81 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Top of the table after the last of the opening eights, then straight to the bottom. The plan at home didn't match the one at the table. Elena was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
