A tug of war, won by unf0rgettable

The lead passed from hand to hand, 4 times over — it was anyone's guess.

unf0rgettable gathered 89 points and the hearts of the crowd. Bravo! In the second of the middle eights: unf0rgettable said 1, scooped 4, and Elena was left counting the pieces.

Second place went to Vyce, with 78 points. Vyce spent a good while in last place and climbed out of it. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

Third, and on the podium: Cretu, with 77 points. In the first of the opening eights: Cretu said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Elena and Vyce. The place above was a single point away.

Last, but with style: Elena, with 69 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Started like a champion — top of the table after the three-card hand on the way down — and finished like a tragedy.
