Elena takes the table
6 players · 30 October 2026
6 players, 30 hands, one winner. Here is how it went.
First place: Elena, with 137 points. At one stretch, 10 good hands in a row.
Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Roua, with 132 points. In the fifth of the opening eights: Roua said 0, scooped 3, and Adrian Gh and Gigel were left counting the pieces. The last of the middle eights: 2 chairs thrown at Roua in seconds 🪑 — the table spoke its mind, furnished and all.
Gigel rounds out the podium with 119 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Gigel was even in front after the third of the middle eights. In the third of the closing eights the table couldn't make up its mind about Gigel: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.
Leize finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 103 points. Leize got past HelenC at the very last hand. In the second of the opening eights: Leize said 3, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Adrian Gh.
Neither at the front nor at the back: Adrian Gh in 5th, with 100 points. The comfort zone. The last hand decided it: Adrian went past HelenC right on the line.
Last, but with style: HelenC, with 99 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. HelenC was ahead of Leize right up to the last hand. HelenC cried laughing 10 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.
Well played everyone — and especially Elena!
