The lead kept changing — edge came out on top

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 60 points. In the third of the opening eights: Elena called 3, took 6, and edge was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena.

Third, and on the podium: Mihai, with 75 points. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Mihai said and... hoped. It didn't hold. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

Ana led for 10 hands but finished second, 18 points behind. On the one-card hand, Ana laid down a card and a fistful of luck. It held.

First place and peace of mind: edge, with 107 points. 3 hands in a row: edge broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Going into the last hand the lead was already 25 — that one was a lap of honour.
