The comeback of unf0rgettable

The tail of the table: Mara, with 91 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. Mara swore 0 in the five-card hand on the way down and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Cristian Imparat in 5th, with 99 points. The comfort zone. Cristian was even in front after the first of the middle eights.

In 4th place, Vlad, on 110 points. The place above was a single point away. 2 hands in a row: Vlad broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Third, on the podium: Ilinca, up there with eyes on the top step. 10 behind Luis, 1 ahead of Vlad — right in the thick of it.

Luis finishes second, 17 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Luis was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

unf0rgettable won the game with 138 points. In the fourth of the closing eights, unf0rgettable bid 2 and took 5 — and Mara and Vlad went down with them. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.
