Ana takes the table
6 players · 27 October 2026
An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 63 slips at the table and scores from 118 down to 82.
Champion of the evening: Ana, with 118 points. The rest, see you in the replay. In the first of the opening eights, Ana bid 3 and took 6 — and Claudiu and Mihai went down with them.
Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Mihai, with 108 points. 10 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.
Radu completed the podium with 103 points. Radu was even in front after the last of the opening eights.
Claudiu finished 4th with 95 points. Claudiu got past Elena at the very last hand. After the second of the closing eights, Claudiu was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
Elena finished 5th with 94 points. Elena was ahead of Claudiu right up to the last hand. After the two-card hand on the way up, Elena was leading the table — but the last hands had other plans.
Last place: Roua, with 82 points. In the fifth of the opening eights: Roua said 1, scooped 4, and 3 others were left counting the pieces. Roua cried laughing 11 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.
Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
