The comeback of edge

Last place: Mihai, with 58 points. Started like a champion — top of the table after the last of the opening eights — and finished like a tragedy. In the last of the closing eights: Mihai said 4, scooped 8, and Ana was left counting the pieces.

Elena completed the podium with 66 points. The last hand decided it: Elena went past Mihai right on the line. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena.

Second place went to Ana, with 77 points. One card, a single card, and Ana still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

First place and peace of mind: edge, with 96 points. In the last of the opening eights, edge bid 0 and took 3 — and Elena and Mihai went down with them. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.
