The comeback of Mihai

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Last place: Ana, with 76 points. After the five-card hand on the way up, Ana was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

unf0rgettable completed the podium with 86 points. unf0rgettable was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand. unf0rgettable was even in front after the two-card hand on the way down.

Elena took second with 87 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. The last hand decided it: Elena went past unf0rgettable right on the line. In the first of the closing eights: Elena called 1, took 5, and Ana was left out in the cold.

Mihai won at a stroll, with 125 points and 38 clear of the rest. At one stretch, 12 good hands in a row.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
