Claudiu comes back from behind

7 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

First place: Claudiu, with 147 points. The rest, see you in the replay. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 13 good hands in a row. Claudiu cried laughing 3 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Catalin, with 130 points. The last hand decided it: Catalin went past GeorgeS right on the line. In the fifth of the middle eights, Catalin bid 1 and took 4 — and CCC and Claudiu went down with them.

Mihai rounds out the podium with 128 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The last hand decided it: Mihai went past GeorgeS right on the line. In the third of the middle eights: Mihai called 2, took 5, and CCC and Catalin were left out in the cold.

Neither at the front nor at the back: GeorgeS in 4th, with 125 points. The comfort zone. GeorgeS was ahead of Catalin right up to the last hand. After the seven-card hand on the way up, GeorgeS was leading the table — but the last hands had other plans.

Elena finished 5th with 109 points. Elena left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Last place, with dignity: CCC, with 101 points. Somebody had to do it. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, CCC said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
