Luis finished second, just 2 points short of the win. Luis was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Ana rounds out the podium with 69 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The last hand decided it: Ana went past Elena right on the line. In the first of the middle eights: Ana called 0, took 3, and Luis was left out in the cold.

Last place: Elena, with 65 points. Top of the table after the two-card hand on the way down, then straight to the bottom. The plan at home didn't match the one at the table. Elena was ahead of Ana right up to the last hand.
