edge comes back from behind

7 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

edge won with 100 points, by a whisker: just 3 points ahead. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, edge said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Mihai led for 12 hands but finished second, 3 points behind. On the one-card hand, Mihai laid down a card and a fistful of luck. It held.

crista rounds out the podium with 93 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the third of the closing eights: crista called 4, took 7, and Elena and Mihai were left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: crista broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 63 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
