unf0rgettable comes back from behind

The cards were dealt, and so were the nerves. Here is the story.

unf0rgettable won at a stroll, with 137 points and 29 clear of the rest. It didn't start well — only 5th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 13 good hands in a row.

Ana led for 12 hands but finished second, 29 points behind. Ana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Mihai rounds out the podium with 103 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 2 hands in a row: Mihai broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Elena finished 4th with 97 points. In the fourth of the closing eights: Elena said 1, scooped 4, and Ana and Radu were left counting the pieces. After the first of the closing eights, Elena was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Radu took last place without any nerves at all, on 72 points. In the second of the opening eights, Radu bid 2 and took 5 — and Ana went down with it.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
