Cretu wins the evening

A game of broken contracts — 36 of them around the table, and scores from 125 all the way down to 56.

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 56 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Ana said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Third, on the podium: Mihai, up there with eyes on the top step. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Elena took second with 92 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. From the tail of the table to a warm spot: Elena plays right down to the last card.

Cretu took the game with 125 points and a 33-point cushion — never really in doubt. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, Cretu was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Well played everyone — and especially Cretu!
