The comeback of Elena

A game of broken contracts — 40 of them around the table, and scores from 109 all the way down to 37.

Cristian Imparat took last place without any nerves at all, on 37 points. 2 hands in a row: Cristian broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Third, and on the podium: Daniel S, with 75 points. Daniel said they'd take nothing in the first of the middle eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Pity led for 9 hands but finished second, 21 points behind. Pity left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Elena took the game with 109 points and a 21-point cushion — never really in doubt. 6 good hands in a row — at one point, Elena was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
