Luis wins the evening

4 players, 24 hands, one winner and a pile of excuses. Let's see how it went.

Last, but with style: Ana, with 65 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. In the third of the closing eights: Ana said 0, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Elena and Mihai. 3 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Ana didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Elena completed the podium with 75 points. In the third of the middle eights: Elena called 1, took 4, and Mihai was left out in the cold.

Mihai took second with 83 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Mihai said and... hoped. It didn't hold. Mihai was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

Luis finishes on 127 points, 44 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. 13 good hands in a row — at one point, Luis was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
