Pity never gave up the lead

A game of broken contracts — 35 of them around the table, and scores from 113 all the way down to 67.

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 67 points. After the four-card hand on the way up, Ana was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

unf0rgettable completed the podium with 82 points. unf0rgettable was ahead of Denisa right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: only unf0rgettable slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but unf0rgettable.

Denisa took second with 87 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Denisa got past unf0rgettable at the very last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Denisa said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Pity won at a stroll, with 113 points and 26 clear of the rest. In front from the second of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
