Luis never gave up the lead
4 players · 7 October 2026
4 players, 24 hands, one winner and a pile of excuses. Let's see how it went.
Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 72 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Ana didn't — but insisted, with dignity. After the two-card hand on the way up, Ana was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
Third, and on the podium: Mihai, with 89 points. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.
Second place went to Denisa, with 93 points. In the third of the middle eights: Denisa said 3, scooped 6, and Luis was left counting the pieces.
Luis takes the game with 111 points and goes home happy. In front from the last of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. Going into the last hand the lead was already 25 — that one was a lap of honour.
Well played everyone. Same table next time?
