The comeback of Radu

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Ioana took last place without any nerves at all, on 74 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Ioana didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Mihai finished 5th with 101 points. One card, a single card, and Mihai still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

Gigel finished 4th with 121 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Gigel was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Payet rounds out the podium with 127 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the fourth of the closing eights, Payet bid 3 and took 6 — and Ioana and Mihai went down with them. Payet was ahead of Radu right up to the last hand.

Elena led for 11 hands but finished second, 5 points behind. The last hand decided it: Elena went past Payet right on the line. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena.
