Catalin comes back from behind

The lead changed hands 7 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

First place and peace of mind: Catalin, with 141 points.

Second place went to Mihai, with 125 points. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Radu completed the podium with 108 points. Radu was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Ioana in 4th, with 104 points. The comfort zone. The last hand decided it: Ioana went past Ana right on the line. After the two-card hand on the way up, Ioana was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Elena finished 5th with 99 points. Elena got past Ana at the very last hand.

The tail of the table: Ana, with 96 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. The table was Ana's after the six-card hand on the way down; the second half had other ideas. Ana was ahead of Ioana right up to the last hand.
