Pity comes back from behind

Another evening at the green baize, and it had a bit of everything.

Pity takes the game with 102 points and goes home happy. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Mihai led for 15 hands but finished second, 8 points behind. In the first of the closing eights, Mihai bid 1 and took 5 — and Pity went down with it. 11 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Third, and on the podium: Scorpio04, with 89 points. Scorpio04 got past Elena at the very last hand. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Scorpio04 said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Last place, with dignity: Elena, with 82 points. Somebody had to do it. Started like a champion — top of the table after the last of the opening eights — and finished like a tragedy. Elena was ahead of Scorpio04 right up to the last hand.

Well played everyone — and especially Pity!
