Elena comes back from behind

Elena won by a whisker, with just 2 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. Elena only went in front at the very last hand. In the seven-card hand on the way up: Elena said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for unf0rgettable.

Mihai led for 11 hands but finished second, 2 points behind. Mihai was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: only Mihai slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Mihai.

Third, on the podium: Luis, up there with eyes on the top step. In the third of the closing eights: Luis said 1, scooped 4, and unf0rgettable was left counting the pieces. Luis was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand.

unf0rgettable took last place without any nerves at all, on 56 points. Started like a champion — top of the table after the three-card hand on the way down — and finished like a tragedy. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, unf0rgettable said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
