Sebi takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 39 slips at the table and scores from 100 down to 58.

Sebi comes out on top of everyone, with 100 points. The cards were kind. Going into the last hand the lead was already 23 — that one was a lap of honour. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Ana, with 86 points. Ana spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Third, and on the podium: Elena, with 66 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

The tail of the table: Mihai, with 58 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. 2 hands in a row: only Mihai slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Mihai. After the two-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Well played everyone — and especially Sebi!
