Ioana wins it late

Last place: Ana, with 96 points. In the first of the closing eights: Ana said 1, made 7, and the evening was ruined for Elena. The place above was a single point away.

Radu finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 97 points. 10 broken contracts, collected like stamps.

Mihai finished 4th with 101 points. One card, a single card, and Mihai still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

Third, on the podium: PaulP, up there with eyes on the top step. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only PaulP didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Elena led for 28 hands but finished second, 8 points behind. Elena was ahead of Ioana right up to the last hand.
