Claudiu never gave up the lead

A game of broken contracts — 79 of them around the table, and scores from 123 all the way down to -22.

Roua finished last, in the red on -22 — the scoreboard had to lend a few points. The first of the middle eights: Roua bid 6, made fewer, and counted the regrets. In the third of the opening eights, 2 chairs flew at Roua within seconds 🪑 — the table had opinions.

Mihai finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 70 points. In the last of the middle eights: Mihai said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Roua.

Raluca finished 4th with 87 points. In the second of the middle eights: Raluca said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Daniela. Raluca was ahead of Daniela right up to the last hand. The last of the opening eights: 3 kisses rained down on Raluca 💋 — the darling of the table.

Third, and on the podium: Adrian Gh, with 90 points. Adrian got past Raluca at the very last hand. Level on points with Daniela, and behind only on the tie-break.

Daniela took second with 90 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Daniela got past Raluca at the very last hand.

Claudiu finishes on 123 points, 33 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. In front from the third of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 12 good hands in a row — at one point, Claudiu was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. In the fourth of the middle eights, Claudiu was showered with 2 kisses in a matter of seconds 💋.

Well played everyone — and especially Claudiu!
