Radu comes back from behind

7 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Radu finished level with Mihai on 126 points and took the win on the tie-break: fewer broken contracts. It didn't start well — only 6th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Mihai led for 23 hands but finished second, 0 points behind. Level on points with Radu, and behind only on the tie-break. Mihai was ahead of Radu right up to the last hand.

Third, on the podium: Cosmin, up there with eyes on the top step. In the last of the middle eights: Cosmin said 1, scooped 4, and Ana was left counting the pieces.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Ana in 4th, with 115 points. The comfort zone. After the six-card hand on the way up, Ana was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Elena finished 5th with 99 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Elena was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Last place, with dignity: Scorpio04, with 88 points. Somebody had to do it. In the first of the closing eights: Scorpio04 said 1, scooped 5, and Mihai was left counting the pieces.
