The comeback of Emi

The lead changed hands 7 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.
Last, but with style: Pity, with 84 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Top of the table after the second of the middle eights, then straight to the bottom. The plan at home didn't match the one at the table. In the third of the opening eights: Pity said 4, scooped 7, and unf0rgettable was left counting the pieces. The five-card hand on the way up: 2 chairs thrown at Pity in seconds 🪑 — the table spoke its mind, furnished and all.
Vyce completed the podium with 92 points. Vyce was even in front after the three-card hand on the way down.
unf0rgettable took second with 94 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. In the second of the opening eights, unf0rgettable bid 1 and took 4 — and Pity went down with it. 2 hands in a row: unf0rgettable broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
Emi finishes on 114 points, 20 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. 12 good hands in a row — at one point, Emi was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
Well played everyone. Same table next time?
