Mara takes the table

The cards went out, and so did the egos. Here is what came of it.

Mara wins by 34 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. At one stretch, 11 good hands in a row.

Alice took second with 107 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Alice was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Mihai completed the podium with 99 points. 8 behind Alice, 2 ahead of Scorpio04 — right in the thick of it.

Scorpio04 finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 97 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Scorpio04 said and... hoped. It didn't hold. After the five-card hand on the way up, Scorpio04 was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans. In the two-card hand on the way up the table couldn't make up its mind about Scorpio04: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 49 points. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
