The comeback of Denisa

Another evening at the green baize — a bit of everything, just like home.

The tail of the table: Scorpio04, with 88 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. The table was Scorpio04's after the last of the opening eights; the second half had other ideas. 2 hands in a row: Scorpio04 broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Neither at the front nor at the back: unf0rgettable in 4th, with 94 points. The comfort zone. After the two-card hand on the way up, unf0rgettable was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

il_duce rounds out the podium with 100 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the first of the closing eights, il_duce bid 0 and took 3 — and Scorpio04 went down with it. 2 hands in a row: il_duce broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Cristian Imparat finishes second, 8 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. 2 hands in a row: only Cristian slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Cristian. Cristian spent a good while in last place and climbed out of it.

Denisa comes out on top of everyone, with 119 points. The cards were kind. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
